sociabilidade do ser humano. A constante obsessão por estes aparelhos tem sido vista como alienante e individualista. Estaria o mundo digital nos cegando em relação ao mundo físico e às relaçãoes offline? 'Smart Blindness' é um projeto que questiona esta relação. Ao mesmo tempo que, de certa forma, limita nossa percepção, a tecnologia também nos liga a outra plataforma da realidade social. No contexto corpóreo, muitos autores acreditam que agora o ser humano se encontra em um estado híbrido, ocupando tanto o espaço online quanto o offline simultaneamente, através destes dispositivos móveis. O projeto faz uso do próprio objeto como uma espécie de máscara, que ao mundo externo parece cegar o usuário, no entanto, proporciona uma ‘nova visão’ a este, diferente da usual. Pretende-se aqui, discutir o uso destas novas ferramentas no contexto sensorial urbano e como isso afeta o comportamento corpóreo do usuário em relação a cidade e a sociedade. O projeto Fontainhas InstaTour tenta levantar a discussão da área das Fontainhas como um ponto turístico para a cidade do Porto. O local, apesar de não ser um cartão-postal típico da cidade do Porto, serve muitas vezes como um mirante, um ponto estratégico com um belo panorama para o Douro, atraindo fotógrafos e turistas. Em uma era em que a facilidade do smartphone coloca rotineiramente em mãos aplicativos fotográficos como o Instagram, a fotografia amadora acaba criando uma nova camada de adeptos, os chamados Instagramers. Assim, ao procurar nestes aplicativos palavras como #fontainhas, #feiradavandoma ou #vandoma, percebemos que este local não apenas existe para VER outra paisagem, mas também é um local que é VISTO, e fotografado, muitas vezes pelos próprios cidadãos portuenses. Fontainhas Instatour, pretende, a partir de uma deriva fotográfica com grupos de instagramers, registrar o dia-a-dia deste lugar, detalhes muitas vezes despercebidos, criando uma coleção de fotografias únicas. A partir desse material, propõe-se produzir postais, tanto digitais (através de uma conta no Instagram) quanto físicos e colocá-los a circular pela cidade do Porto. Pretende-se aqui abordar como a arte pode revelar a beleza daquilo que consideramos banal e comum. Além disso, o projeto também pretende discutir de maneira crítica, como certos lugares de uma cidade são exaltados economicamente através do turismo, enquanto outros, não muito distantes, se encontram em abandono. O projeto também pretendo pôr em evidência os diferentes meios de comunicação que ainda usamos,e como muitas vezes eles se assemelham em sua essência. árvore, era feliz...?" é uma instalação interativa que utiliza um jogo urbano de ‘caça ao tesouro’ como plataforma (Geocaching). O projeto pretende marcar a retirada da árvore sequoia-gigante do Jardim do Carregal, trazendo o público a visitar e interagir com o Jardim que foi sua morada na cidade do Porto durante mais de um século, através de um processo lúdico. Além disso, a instalação tenta contestar nossa relação com estes seres que nos provém tanto, incondicionalmente, mesmo em um ambiente urbano muitas vezes hostil à sua essência. Obra integrada na Exposição Soft Monuments, Galeria Painel. *** Making an analogy to the children’s book “The Giving Tree” (Shel Silverstein), “And the tree, was it happy …?“* is an interactive installation that uses a ‘treasure hunt’ urban game as a platform (Geocaching). The project aims to highlight the removal of the giant sequoia tree from the Garden of Carregal, bringing the public to visit and interact with the garden which was its home in the city of Porto, through a ludic process. In addition, the installation tries to challenge our relationship with these beings that much provides for us, unconditionally, even in an urban environment that is often hostile to their essence. O ser anônimo, ou pelo menos desconhecido, parece ter uma liberdade de expressão ou relação social diferente. Por de trás de uma tela, podemos assumir outras personalidades, abordar assuntos que talvez não abordássemos cara-a-cara. "A Stranger's Questions" tenta trabalhar esta temática. A partir de conversas online com estranhos em aplicativos de relacionamento ou redes sociais (ex:Okcupid, Tinder, Facebook, etc), selecionou-se algumas perguntas que pareciam mais inusitadas. Algo que fugisse das simples questões quando se está conhecendo alguém novo. Assim, 'Qual é o seu nome?, Quantos anos tem?, De onde és?' são substituídos por 'Já alguma vez escrevestes poesia?, Gostas de vampiros?, Já subiste em um elefante?'... Assim, criou-se um deck de cartas com as perguntas selecionadas. Propõe-se que o objeto seja locado em mesas de esplanadas de restaurantes, cafés ou outro locais semi-públicos, e que seja usado pelos usuários destes locais como 'conversation starters'. The anonymous being, or at least the stranger, seems to have a freedom of expression or a different social relationship. Behind a screen, we can assume other personalities, address issues that perhaps we wouldn't address in a face-to-face situation. "A Stranger's Questions" tries to talk about this issue. From online conversations with strangers on social networking applications (such as OkCupid, Tinder, Facebook, etc.) questions that seemed most unusual are selected. realizados no âmbito do Mestrado acerca do Jardim do Carregal, nomeadamente os projetos 'Two Sides of a Story', 'E a árvore era feliz…?' e a performance coletiva 'Walking Trees' O ato pretendia, de forma poética e sutil, conectar estas árvores 'estrangeiras' em um local onde não encontram seus conterrâneos. Tomando um formato de exercício experimental entre a intervenção, o caminhar e a performance, assim como o projeto 'Conectando Lugares - Alegria/Alegria', este projeto também questiona o ato do caminhar como prática na chamada 'mobile art' ao usar um aplicativo para demarcar a trajetória de ligação entre as árvores. A questão originária sendo “Onde estranhos me levam no espaço físico da cidade?” também foi acrescentada pela questão: “Quando estranhos deixam de ser estranhos?”. A questão era pertinente pois o que me interessava era o primeiro contato, ainda duvidoso, entre dois estranhos em um local público. Na minha percepção eventualmente desenvolvesse laços mais concretos com o indíviduo, o mapeamento do caminho já não se mostraria tão relevante para o estudo. A idéia surgiu justamente de uma conversa online com um estranho, que me inspirou a fazer o projeto. Está sendo utilizado o aplicativo Mapping! no ‘modo aventura’, que apenas revela a imagem satélite do local por onde o indivíduo passa, deixando o resto da imagem escondida. Até o momento me encontrei com o total de três pessoas. Coloquei o prazo de conclusão do projeto durante a minha estadia em Portugal ( que irá durar pelo menos mais um ano). Apesar do projeto ter tido início em Janeiro de 2015, o processo de se sentir a vontade para encontrar um estranho varia muito. Você pode tanto demorar meses até encontrar alguém, assim como marcar o encontro para o dia seguinte. Os locais variam de acordo com o indivíduo, desde cafés e bares, praças, estações de metrô, praias e até cemitérios. Projeto inserido na tese de mestrado Public SmArt apresentada a FBAUP em 2015.
